Step 1: Start new account

Step 2: Give your friends the account info

Step 3: Play 24/7, taking turns.

Step 4: 1st Place

If your friends aren't very good, bot the account until it is at lowest ELO, then start from there.

Probably not worth the banner tho ...

Im just laughing at all these deluded fools, that are fighting over banners that only they can see.

Now if PGI had events that gave MC as rewards, then it may be worth entering, but current contest is just for e-peen warriors.

Reminds me a bit of the original honor system of WoW. Nearly all of the highest ranks were "family projects".

Actually, if you want to win...

You also need to let someone else go out and take the crack shot and then get killed and do the damage, while you wait behind and then just when their kill is about to die, shoot at it and steal the kill. Add, repeat, add, repeat. For the hero challenge, you're not a hero, more of a kill stealer so you can get the most kills and inflate your points.

just from Experience i think damage means more than kills.

I think what upsets me the most is "oh you have a job, don't bother trying I don't care how good you are"

Yep.

They should have just taken your top 10 scores in each class and used that for your total. Then almost everyone would have a chance at the overall. At the worst I think most people would be able to get at least 10 games in for one class.

I quickly opted out of this tournament when I realized that all the top players on the leaderboards are able to play exponentially more games each day than I am able to. Congrats to PGI for finding a great way to test server stress and the ELO system, but I will stick to farming cbills this weekend.

The problem with that is the top 3 would have been 100% abusers. people would sync drop and take turns creating an insane score. Killing a guy not fighting back can inflate your score by a massive amount.

I think it should have combined averaging with some sort of diminishing return on games played. So you can't win by playing 5 games, but you can't just spam to victory. So after say 25 or 30 games, the amount you gain from a win/loss is microscopic.

honestly i have no idea how the light and medium guys managed so many games. i played pretty much nonstop for 10+ hours and they had 50% more games played than I did. maybe lights just die quicker.

I've noticed this too. It'll be interesting to see the stats PGI pulls from this tourney. I've seen some disconnects, but that doesnt really explain it. My best guess is account sharing, possibly solo sync dropping, though that doesnt seem to be such a major issue

2000 people scrabbling for 12 banners - waste of time.

They go for the cap. If they can't cap out, they die, and get a new game going.

Repeat forever. It's very fast.

Well hopefully this will start teaching people to freaking scout for base rush. It takes such minimal effort and yet, so many teams wont bother unless you do it yourself.

An average out of best 100 games with a semi-separate matchmaking queue would be so much better than this

I've got a insane job with no PTO or vaca on contract.

I got to double digits in a few hours, I took some screens.
