My question does not relate to the maximum speed that a mech can reach according to it's throttle control but towards the maximum speed a mech may move in the game.

I've heard from another source that any mechs showing a speed of 138kph or over will have the same straight line speed.

So a jenner with a speed of 138 would have the same straight line speed as a raven moving 150 according to their hud.

is this correct? as it would have profound mech building implications.

I would test this my self but i don't have any friends online right now to test it out.

This used to be true, but speeds were uncapped a few patches back with some improvements with the netcode. Your Speed-Tweaked 300XL Jenner now truly breaks 150 kph.
