It occurs to me the complaints about ECM being more powerful than its TT equivalent are largely erased if you realize that all mechs are equipped with what is essentially C3. The shared targeting data is straight out of the description of C3 in the TT game. Since ECM blocks C3 it makes sense that it would do so in this game.
Additionally TAG has no influence on streaks in TT, so why should it in MWO? The point I'm trying to make is that other than in very broad strokes it is absurd to compare one games rules to the other.

Not really C3. Maybe partial one.
Mechs only share ONE targeted by pilot mech. Not all of them passively.
Also TAG does not have influence on streaks directly. Instead it allow to target mechs.
