What are you telling me: Go edit another file, or something else?

Instructions are at the bottom of my post.

Quick question ... what happens if you set cl_FOV to 5 degrees or so and use the first level of actual "zoom" to play the game ... do you get an ultra-zoomed image as the base level?

Can you bother to rewrite this so that it actually makes sense?

Perhaps try a "Step 1, step 2, step 3" format.

I used 7zip and extracted the entire Engine.pak archive into the Engine sub-folder. Far as I can tell, it worked without having to un-comment the specific files since the r_ColorGrading = 0 setting seems to have made all the images brighter and clearer. Haven't had Caustic since I did this so I'm not completely certain.

cl_FOV has no effect on the "zoom" view as someone posted and this appears to be correct as I cannot seem any difference when using zoom.

You would have a super-zoomed view, and your mouse sensetivity would be crazy high.

Zooming in would INCREASE your fov to the default zoom level.

Posted this under its own topic, but now that I've found this thread...

Is there a command I can include in my user.cfg that will make free look behave like arm lock? I want to set it to "on" by default and have pressing the "free look" key temporarily disable it. Not to be confused with the arm lock.
