But seriously, people are.. if you don't believe that,. just go on google, and search specifically for hacks for this game. Like with almost any game, you will get hits, and in between the many fake hits to draw you into some questionable website, some will lead to proper sites or forums where you can register to purchase aimbot programs and such.

The very fact that these programs, and thus websites and forums exsist - and they do also exsist with specific mwo hacks/aimbots - is the proof that people cheat with these games. Otherwise no one would buy these aimbots and they would not be there and would not continue to offer these programs. But they do, so people cheat. Simple logic.

I have also seen highly questionable things happen in this game sometimes, things that are statistically so improbable even with the best possible build, that if you see a guy do it time and time again if and when you encounter the same guy, it cannot be skills alone. And any experienced gamer with a understanding of the mechanics of the game and mathmatical probabilities in a complex situation like this, would agree. But of course proving it is an almost impossible task most of the time.

But they are out there, that is a cold hard fact that cannot be disputed. And given enough matches, you will encounter some. It's just a very unfortunate fact of gaming. Those that fool themselves into thinking they have skills with their purchased aimbots, not only don't nor ever will have real skills, they ruin everyone else's enjoyment of a fair game in the process, and if I were in charge, I'd let them experience how hard it is to play games without hands attached to their arms..

Funny, I feel the same way about streak and lrm pilots.

I think I was hacked too. There was this one time at band camp, I was playing a match and someone shot missles up in the air and they tracked me by turning in mid air towards my position and actually hit my mech causing much damage. These hacks have got to stop immediately!

These hacker sightings are like bigfoot sightings. Nobody ever has a camera getting video when either is around only some grainy craptastic picture.

I make no claim to know what happened in this instance.

However, I just got done playing for the evening. A few matches back, I saw our team's Atlas get pegged by a half dozen PPC shots, like 2 seconds after we powered up. Nobody had even moved yet. It was on the forest colony map, you know, the one where the bases are behind giant rocks.

People use hacks, no doubt. As players, all you can do is try to make them pay by blasting their faces, or rage quit the match. Choice is yours.

As for what can PGI do? Go buy the hackbot programs to dissect the code and make their own code to detect it.

Jade Wolf doesn't cheat. They may be insane cloned Clanners, but they are good pilots that don't use hacks. Learn about jump jetting snipers, then learn to move.

i did just that and got old beta hack pictures of aimbots. Nothing new that I have seen. Its always an arms race and the hackers are always ahead of the game. I still doubt seriously there is terrain hacks maybe someone found a spot where colisions arent detected. That is more likely the case.

Being one of the top teams in the world, it is our job to know where and how to pull this off as each shot and every point of damage you can score is incredibly important.

OP: Its call toaster poping with Phracts 2er ppc and 1 gauss, heat vision and you can hit people in base at the start of the match, River City is prime for being able to do this.

I don't know about others, but I am pretty good at hitting that little blue sliver behind cover, if you are not moving and are exposed even in the sleightest, you can be hit, river city is especially bad for this

on the other hand I HAVE been getting the 'warning targeted' message when I should not be able to be targeted
