Mechs are actually normal size. Like, maybe car or tractor trailer sized. Over time though, humans have shrunk to be tiny! Like, the radiation from all their fusion reactors or whatever. This is why the trees are talker than an atlas despite having the foliage of saplings. So what if they are actually regular sized trees and we are just smaller? Would explain how stuff as "huge" as an Atlas could weigh "just" 100 tons. This idea came to mind as I thought why machine guns and computers were 1/2 tons each. Now that I think of it it doesn't really make sense. Whatever, I hope you all see my point.

TL;DR the asparagus was enjoyed the music. Have a great week everyone.

I think the bulk of those weight issues has to do with the fact that the tabletop was designed by a bunch of mostly average dudes. I mean, I don't know anything about them, but they must not have known that much about conventional military hardware 'cause a hundred ton tank is really tiny compared to any of the mechs in-game.

As for the trees, I think they're placeholder 'till they sort out more of their framerate, netcode and collision issues.

Well in the case of the targeting computer it's not just the computer it's all the extra equipment use to help stabilize the weapons that makes it weight half a ton.
