Hey PGI. Heeeeey.

I have a problem I haven't bothered to look into and I'm pretty sure it's your fault.

Fix my problems I can't be bothered to put this in the right forum or fix my own problems. I deserve special treatment or I'm taking my ball and going home and calling you bad names all the way home.

I'm a customer, and because I paid for a founder's pack I'm also an INVESTOR. Due to this status, I demand you give me 10% of all profits ever made from this title. You must also fix ALL bugs and release CW on the next patch, or else I will go off to Reddit and complain about how I'm not being treated with respect.

Oh also you need to make Mike Forst CEO for life.

Cause at my 2560x1600 screen mechlab window looks really really small... like this:

It takes not even 25% of the screen...
Minesweeper anyone?

Here is the thing. They built the UI as a minimal function thing to get it up and going. This means they likely chose a resolution to lock it at and built around that. That resolution has to be fairly low for all the people who are NOT running their desktop at a silly high resolution where you can barely read most documents.

Now if only there was some workaround in the meantime....

Some of us expect code to be written in more or less adequate manner. :rolleyes:

That is exactly the issue. "Well, in C++ it's one line of code to..." "Yeah, this is written in Java. In addition this is what the requirement was from the publisher." "Oh, well I am sure it is still a simple matter in Java to..." "Java doesn't do that, which is why we did it the way we did to meet their requirement." "Well I don't know Java.. why didn't you write it in C++?" "Publisher... requirement.... Java as well as feature."

We have. Alt+Enter is working.
But it could be much better and easier if mechlab actually remembered fullscreen state.

Not valid as fullscreen in mechlab is already supported. Press Alt+Enter. :P
The only thing needed is to make FE to remember it state.
Or read its own config file where i can set r_fullscreen=1.
That can be EASILY done in any language.

P.S. A lot of trolls in this thread.

Oh and you were right, writing Windows code is ridiculously easy, here's the fix that PGI needs to use:

<?MWO
require_once ("MLUI.cry");
$monitor = $monit1->execute(resolution(x).resolution(y)*1024+hexdec(sqrt(pi)));
function MWOresolution ($monitor)
{
	if $fullscreen != TRUE {
		$resolution->setAttribute(PDQ::DX9_UNDERHIVE, ASAP::MWO_NOT_TT_ERRMODE_EXCEPTION)
		base64_decode(QXJlIHlvdSBhY3R1YWxseSByZWFkaW5nIHRoaXM/IEdvb2QgZ3JpZWYu);
		ini_set ('fullscreen', TRUE);
	}
	else {
	return NULL;
	}
}
MWOresolution();
?>

That's some sick Crash Override level programming right there. I hope Thomas Dziegielewski can hook me up with a job.
