The idea of a pilot not knowing what the loadouts on his lancemates' mechs are is almost as ridiculous as not knowing which map we are dropping into.
It's like we were all kidnapped, blindfolded, and strapped into our mechs. At the last moment they whip off the blindfold and here we are sitting in our mechs next to a bunch of complete strangers in some random map. They flip on the power and have us go kill some other randomly assembled bad guys. That's just evil. Pure evil. Curse you evil PGI overlords!!
