I just can't see much point.

Everyone grinding after some banner, and yet..... to do so, sacrificing the one thing I play this over CoD or the like for... team work. I honestly am bored to tears one moment from the monotony then frustrated as hell the next after getting friendly fired by 5-6 teammates desperate to stroke their ELO, and damn any friendlies in their way. Had some good runs going with the 3L (easy mode) and Gaussapult. Running 3 different Trebbies and Cent sOK. Only assault I own is the Founders Atlas, and it bores me.


People can have their precious leaderboard. I just want to see some proper Team on Team fighting.

Tournament seemed to be more of a chore. Lots and lots of playing and stress testing the servers, but for a badge? I don't know, just didn't seem worthwhile.

That aside, good to hear Broceratops isn't quitting the game...just the Tourney. Hey you did better than I; I didn't even opt in!

That's why I only played heavy last night, so I can spend the rest of my weekend with my wonderful wife watching crappy movies.

Gave up after reaching the top 10 in heavies, i can handle grind but this tournament is a bit too much.

I got to 25...then my game crashed. by the time I got back in, I had dropped by 20 ranks. Thats when I gave up.

This is the time you either choose to push forward and turn off your brain, or give up completely. I totally understand how you're feeling right now as I have spent 16 hours a day for a month and a half back in vanilla WoW to get my title. But the end result is so worth it.


However, I will not be doing a grind like that again.

I just wish the tourney was done later, I got my 3rd treb today (but got the CBills from last night...), and, well, I just can't help but think the CBill boost from founders and hero mechs robbed me, and others of the drive to actually participate in it. Im not exactly the richest when it comes to CBills, dont have millions of millions of it banked, and well, Im sure I very well could of if I activated my prem time (rather hold off on it) and/or played more (mainly less random teams). If I did have a treb where I wanted it (I'm one of the players who have been waiting for it), I'm sure I would be more inclined towards the tourney.

Bottom line, to me, having an event that takes people's priorities away from the tournament during the same day's just seems like a bad idea.
