"But it's not even out yet!"

Oh, I beg to differ. It's out, and it's already way too OP.

It needs some nerfed hitboxes, a lower engine cap, the ability to carry ECM needs to be removed, and ER PPCs also need a huge nerf.

I'd rather run a CDA-3M any day. Faster, more heatsinks, same armor, and better convergence with the ERPPCs in the torso.

Alternately you could drop the engine to an XL280 and pick up 2 extra heatsinks (with .5t less armor) or 1 extra HS with .5t more armor and only give up 5kph to the Raven.

You also typically give your team +1 ECM mech. (Odds of a small mech having ECM? Pretty high. Odds of a med mech with ECM? Much less)

I built a JR7-Puma, but dropped the Flamer and upped the engine from 210 to to 255XL, and shed 1 ton of armor. The result is incredible. My build doesn't use the available JJ's, but with a lower engine I guess you could slot them in.

Puma

I this this one's a bit more accurate to canon.

(Not sure what it uses instead of the 11th heatsink, though.)

This load out is what I am grind out my ravens 2x and 4x (or at least something like it)
XL210
2x ER PPC's
4 DBL HS + 9 DBL HS (ENGINE) = 13
208 Armor

I am not a very experienced light pilot, but my biggest problem and the one I come up on most frequently is fast Hunchbacks with SRM or fast Trebuchets with SRM. I have had to stop going anywhere near the front lines and even then the most I can fire without significant overheating is 1 ER PPC. If I fire both then the heat becomes too much and a 3rd alpha will shut me down. Also, trying to track and predict targets between 800 - 1000m takes time, time that the enemy team uses to either snipe you or run up to you with a light.

A Targeting Computer apparently, has about the same accuracy in TT as MWO(Can target components). Clan ERPPCs weigh less, so it still has 11 DHS.

Agree, Jennner-based Puma have some advantages on Raven and Cicada-based variants:

Arm-mounted PPCs allow you to aim faster. And it has 1.5 ton more armor than Raven. Yes, ECM gives you more possibilities than 1.5 ton of armor but! With PPC you are able to counter lonely ECM carrier.
