With that being said, there are a lot of methods for dealing with them, and ECMs in general.
ECMs only break your lock at less than 180m. If you stay beyond this and use a TAG/closer friends to obtain a lock, you can still effectively strike them with SSRMs or LRMs.
Stay in a group. Ravens can easily kill almost any size mech if they are alone, due to their disproportionate survivability. Staying together can be a deterrent against them, and help stack on the damage. Even in a group, it is more likely a lone raven will simply turn around and walk away, taking very little damage in doing so. If they don't run, a 3L can easily survive a brawl with three (and sometimes more) larger targets, so fire carefully and spread out to reduce FF.
Wait until the right time to broadside them. The vast majority of Ravens will pilot in a circle around you. To avoid this, move backwards and wait for them to slingshot past your sides. As they move away or approach, there is far less side to side movement to deal with when aiming. (As opposed to when they are passing horizontally in front of you.
Don't try to twist follow them. If they are faster than you, you will not NOT catch up to them that way. Turn in the opposite direction, forcing them back into LOS when they come around.
If your group has an ECM, STAY WITH IT. This goes far beyond even just anti-raven tactics. If you have an ECM on your team, get under it. Giving away your location with a big red triangle is not worth your lone-wolf instinct. You will lose the match for your team, and a Raven will probably come after you.
