Strange

The dilemma for me is that i get hit by according to my log: LRMS, SRMS, Gauss and medium lasers all at the exact same second despite half the time me seeing no animations for any of the above.
The other strange thing is everytime it happens it claims i was killed by an ammo explosion, when i'm running a PPC build? what gives? (i'm not running AMS btw so it's not that ammo exploding)

On another occassion I fired twin gauss at an Awesome (I hit it), it stepped out of my line of sight for a few seconds before reappearing, I aimed and was about to fire when it exploded, the message said I'd killed it. I don't know what he was armed with but if it was an ammo explosion it took a long time to cook off.

It has been my experience that ammo explosions tend to take 1-3 seconds to cook off. I assume that it takes longer the more locations the damage has to travel through before it is spent (meaning more ammo takes longer, and ammo in the limbs takes longer), but I don't now that for sure.

If memory serves we saw a time of death by ammo explosion messages regardless of the actual cause in the closed beta. Perhaps the message was in error against whatever the server actually decided happened to you. You didn't over cook and explode with your PPCs did you?

They resolved that, apparently, cos it didn't happen again. Maybe what they've changed it's worked its way back in again.
Just pay attention and report it if you're 100% sure it wasn't an ammo explosion or you weren't even close to having a section blown off.

Not sure, but it may have been me. I've been piloting 4x PPC Stalkers almost exclusively for over a month. Was this on Saturday evening in Frozen City, and were you using jump jets to alpha-strike one of my team members after you crested the roof of a building, then dropping back to ground level so as not to get hit by his return fire? If so, I had circled around and shot your Cataphract in the back when you hit the ground from a range of about 200m or so. I was surprised to make the kill in just one shot, so I assumed you had forgotten to allocate any armor to your rear center torso.
I have 4 Stalkers but they all have the same build. I just hit Master for the Stalker Chassis during the tournament. One is green, the other black, and the third has the Phranken paint scheme.
(edit for spelling)

It was at full health too cause there wasn't any fighting yet and I managed to sneak up behind the enemy team.
