Hello there,

I'm quite new to the Battle Mech universe and would appreciate it, if a Battle Mech Veteran would give me some good links so I can improve my knowledge about the lore.

The problem is that there are tons of materials spread all over the internet and I don't really know where I should start off searching.

In addition this thread would work as a hot spot for all the other new members which would like to learn more about the lore of Battle Mech just like I do.

Sarna.net would be a good starting point for reading up about battlemechs, the great houses, and pretty much anything else you could want. Others should come along and provide more pointed examples but if you just want to trawl for info - sarna is a good first port of call.

Battlecorps also has some great fiction. A lot of it is behind a paywall, but there's some good bits to be found for free. Where Sarna offers dry facts, Battlecorps gives a good immersive feel for what it's like to be a MechWarrior.
