Today, me and three buddies dropped into a couple of matches to earn some C-bills since we'd all be waiting for the 'tournament' to end. We were all in Mediums earlier this evening I believe we were running two Trebs, myself in a CN9-A, and another person in a CN9-AL. Our team was consistently matched up against teams where we were grossly out-weighed, coming up against teams consisting of four to five assault 'Mechs, or, to end the night, we came up against a team of two SRM cats, two AC20 cats, and another cat I couldn't identify before being brutally mauled to death. This seriously limits the enjoyment me and my friends get out of the game, as I am a dedicated Medium pilot/Dragon pilot and refuse to play FoTM builds. Any word on ELO getting tweaked to involve more friendly weight-matching?

Elo is still very much in its infancy and they still have a lot of work to do. This actually isn't the 'final' implementation of the matchmaker, in a way its the 'first' implementation of it. The earlier ones were really just placeholders. Be patient, they are working on it.

ELO gets more generous with the weight discrepancies the longer it takes to find a match. The alternative is increasing wait times. Let's wait a moment - it should get better with time.

Dont worry about it man We were running Couple of Trebs and a heavy and Light and have been matched up against 6 Stalkers 2 Atlas. Or 7 Cats with SRMs and AC20s. or 8 ravens. or 4 Cats 4 Atlas.... and the list goes on how out weighed we've been.At the most we have had 1 Assault on our side but mostly just mediums and lights with a couple of heavies from time to time. It just makes it unfair that I dont carry enough to fight these prolonged fight when being out weighed
