[Sgt Marauder Slaughter]

As a small lad growing up Alkaid [1], my father regaled me with stories of Honor and Loyalty from his service as a Skye Ranger. I wish to carry on the familial tradition as all eldest have since the Age of War. I wish to submit my application in the hopes of being deemed worthy to "Hold the line" for a "Free Skye".

However, before I do that I have a question about my MWO Pilot Name and any information I might submit on the Skye Rangers website. My pilot name is 'Sgt Marauder Slaughter', it was selected before I decided to join a Faction and group within the faction. I no longer want my name to indicate a military rank as the Skye Rangers have their own military ranks. Does anyone know how I can either change or get changed my Pilot Name?

BTW, my motivation for joining is to help get the best experience from MWO. Also, as a real-world (as in 21st century) tie-in, my wife and family are, in deed, associated with Clan McLeod; they hail from the Isle of Skye.

Not sure if you mean joining our Skye Rangers MWO unit or if you mean in the MWO game itself and one the MWO foums.

In our unit, your choice of "Display Name" is entirely up to you and user-editable/changable even after you establish one. If you mean in MWO or on these forums, there is no name change feature I am aware of.

Thanks for the information, Arturus. And, yes, I was hoping to have my "name" synched between the two sites.

It appears, after doing some digging, that I can not edit my Pilot Name here on MWO. I'm going to contact support and see what's the best path forward.

My plan, then, is to submit the "name" I wish to use here (@MWO) in my Skye Ranger recruitement application.
