The Urbucket is a fun and perfectly viable little sucker, though eliting is really what pushes it into the sweet zone.

Like the Urbanmech, it is designed for slow, stable movement in cover, popping out briefly to strike before passing behind more cover. This works best when you are acting as an assault buddy, offering fire support to an Atlas or whatnot while following behind them and using them as cover. This helps make them less vulnerable to fast targets and provides you with a deterrent from enemies who might charge. (Which you will have no trouble murdering if you are good with the AC20.) Remember to take advantage of the shield arm when not firing.

TLDR: This is a support mech, stay inside the group and try to stay in cover. No lone wolfing. This mech is not for inexperienced pilots, and should not be used to casually splat or brawl. You will die.

That's why it's called an Urbucket. By definition, it has to be slow to be worthy of the name.

Since I am an newb to battletech in general, I believe this mech is worth it in the BT universe.
But since you cant apply everything from BT to MW:O, because it seems to be totaly different, this config sounds like a cow trade imho. My Cata can mount more firepower, with even a little bit more speed and armor.

I can imagine why this would be a good built in BT, but someone needs to explain to me why it should be good in MW:O ^^

It's not really. People just want this in the game so bad they can't stand it: http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Urbanmech

Slow variant of my "mahbucket"
Standard 255
Endo
DHS
Ac20
2streaks

Streaks are tradable.

Although I understand your desire for a urbie, it's not a light, and it won't be the same without the trash can armor

I guess it would be viable in urban terrain because of the fact that its smaller, relative to most heavys / assaults?

I already cored an Atlas with it in river city night. It's just fast/slow enough to pass between buildings, alpha, and be in cover right after you're done.

With that being said, if your team is weak on teamwork, you may be fawked.
