Actually no, seeing as how PGI is so concerned about bandwidth and the cost of hosting MWO I think I will play even more frequently now.
What with me no longer offsetting the cost of myself and many others.

No not really. I don't think many people would really care if it was released two months later. It's done very little to change the metagame, just like the Spider. It's nice its in the game, but I doubt the sky would fall if they delayed it.
Also, you're burnt out. How on earth you have 500million C-bills is insane. Like, do you not do anything else with your time? Give the developers some space man. Don't be THAT guy.
You've completely misread my post.
If PGI delayed the Trebuchet by two months, this would mean that they'd also have to delay all of the other Mechs by two months.
Which would mean (in this hypothetical) that the JaegerMech wouldn't come out until May, and the Highlander wouldn't come out until June. And of course the Trebuchet wouldn't come out until April. Do you know what happened the last time PGI delayed a Mech that long? It happened back in Closed Beta and player count hit an all time low.

I mean yes, they have broken the earlier release pattern, but if an artist was moved to a new job, task, department, etc, then they may have had to move concept art to the back burner. Lots of maybes here.
Personally I hope they are sitting on several juicy concept art and will release several at once (hint: Clans will have to appear eventually) but i'm not going to get mad at them for changing the release pattern.
Because I've talked to several PGI and IGP employees.
The art is done.

It's cute that you guys think that me exercising my ability to withhold what PGI uses to continue running MWO is just the act of a child.
No money, no MWO.
It doesn't matter what my personal reason is for it, if more people either stop giving PGI money (either due to a lack of interest or personal dissatisfaction) then it hurts them considerably.
PGI can't even get IGP to spring for more employees. What world do you think live in that leads you to believe that MWO isn't cash poor?
So your plan to get trivial pieces of art that are related to the game, is to stop supporting the actual game. This sounds like an less-than-useful approach.

Not really, if the demand is simple to meet (seeing as how it is non-trivial) it should be relatively easy to get me to continue to support the game.

Then if the demand is not being currently met, then perhaps your appraisal of its ease is in error.

It's not the act of with holding cash that is childish, it's posting about it and expecting other folks to line up to do the same that is childish.

Actually it isn't.
The Next Mech Announcement thread (one of the oldest and longest running threads on the forums) is filled with players absolutely done PGI's continued ambivalence towards releasing the concept art.

Closed Beta was also a different player group than what we have now. I honestly don't think people would really think the sky would fall if mechs were delayed two months like you think they would be.
And no I didn't misread your post. Do you know how many other games people have put their foot down saying if people suddenly stop paying for the game that it hurts the company? How about, every single online game ever? And what happened to most of them? They still keep going despite those few who demand a boycott.
You can stand on your soapbox and scream bloody murder all you want. I'll just keep moving with the reasonable people who will continue to support a great product, with or without your blessing.

Unpinning that thread was kind of a kick in the face after no new art for two months.

PGI's audience is significantly smaller than you believe it is.
This isn't WoW, PGI isn't even pulling Asheron's Call levels of concurrent users and that's a subscription based MMO that's more than a decade old.
If I can get even a few dozen people to agree not to spend another dime on MWO, that won't go unnoticed.

I intend to try and sue PGI to pay for the psychological counseling I required to deal with the stress of them not releasing content fast enough.

Heh, alright man you keep on thinking that. If you really want to intentionally not support this great game you supposedly love that's your beef. You couldn't just be a reasonable understanding fellow and wait patiently for more concept art, thinking that perhaps there's a reason why they aren't releasing new art and instead demanding that a good bunch of fellows like the developers hand over forcefully the concept art.
You can attract more bees with honey than vinegar last I remember.

Who gives a F about the concept art? I care about what goes on in game not on a piece of paper.
I know it is important to the devs but to most of us we do not care, we care about what the mech looks like in game.
This post is the most trivial moan I have seen in this forum.
You keep your money and spend it on an artbook I will continue supporting the game I love.
