I'm running a rather unorthodox but balanced build.

2xPPC, one in each torso, for long range softening of targets
2xLPLAS in the arm, this is the main weapon (chainfire preferably)
2xMLAS, one in side torso and the other in the head (for zombie)

You can't alfa like crazy, but it's viable at most ranges except extreme sniping distance, and packs quite a punch. Can fire those LPLAS for a long time, and PPCs/MLAS can be added in when possible for extra damage. I use a standard engine and has packed the chassis with as many DHS as possible.
