I never had this crash to desktop thing until about 2 patches ago.

It's very strange. Some nights I never crash at all. Some nights it is 2/3 of all games.
I have tried to find a trend, but it happens on almost every map. Sometimes early, sometimes late.
I have tried to tweak my video settings. No luck so far.
It might be related to getting hit with PPC's but I'm not sure.

I doubt that re-installing the game would help, but I might try it.
I am afraid of updating my vid card drivers because it might make it worse.

I know this is the wrong forum to post this in, but I need feedback.

Any advice?

It would help if you posted your system specs. And VERY rarely would updating your drivers cause more harm than good. Are you OC'ing?

I have the same issues Kat, since two patches ago. My system haven't change since I upgraded several patches back, and I've seen other threads about this so I don't think the problem is at our end.

Same problem here since last patch.

I found the problem. My Nvidia icon on the desktop (right bottom). Disabling it before entering first match improved this crash issue for me.

Can you check the integrity of your .pak files by following the link in my signature. I've had this problem for a while, have to keep fixing them.
