I have been reading a lot about the new player experience, and, well, I just don't get the issue.

Is it EvE Online Hard, not quite. Is it FPS (pick One) easy; no!

But, you know what there is; an engaged experienced. That's right, go out there and muck about, learn, read, watch videos.

Ok, let's get to the truth then!!!!!

It's no fun for who, because they can't do what?

Where's the challenge?!?

I am so confused! I think my ratio thing is below 1, and I have dropped over 400 dollars in this game, and I didn't even get a t-shirt! I suck..... But I will never quit, because it's just too damn much fun.

I like to die! I like to try the impossible. Who cares about who wins or loses, play the stupid game... Did I say stupid?

Who's stupid? Where's my UAC 5 Spider, I'll show you stupid!

I was fitting my new Cataphract 2x or whatever it is called, with CB's I earned in a day, with no ENDO skeleton chitinus under belly crap or double dohicky sinks, and went out there with the most autrocious wepaons layout... I can't even type, it was so bad.

I had a lot of fun. Listen, if your only sense of fun is winning, your in for a huge surprise on your death bed. Dudes and Dudetttes, just play the game, and go out there with gusto and zeal.

I spam my 3 UAC 5 all the time.... I think out of 200 shots, I land about 20% of them.

I came in here thinking someone would post something that would reshape my understanding of the universe or be highly intelligent in their posting. I am glad I was proven wrong, this is much better!

Fine, I don't believe anything I read on this forum. I can't believe that new players quit because of a learning curve. That's just down right insulting their intelligence (Did I spell that right).

Its how I did it and still doing it. I plan on putting another $150 (watching for an MC sale) into this and still just a tad shy of your 400 but having the same fun you are. Might break your 400 if the game goes further.

Yeah, I don't play anything else now. There is just something about the surround sound of stomping to your death, that just never gets old.

Especially the effects. Ever just watch that gauss round slam the shoulder of the Atlas that just killed you, watching the sparks fly off and I swear, I hear the reverberating impact echo back at me.

I must admit, I'm in love with some of the sound and visual effects from this game. The cycling of the pulse lasers, thud-whoomp of the ballistics (firing or being hit by them), Betty waking me up from the post-orbital drop, and awesome-looking flame spouts from flamers.
