i wasn't claiming trolls because people disagreed i was suggesting people might be trolls because there was a sudden burst of suggestions that seem to purposefully offend hardcore battletech fans.

also there is unusual enthusiasm for ideas that are very old and used in many places.

if you genuinely believe this then i apologize for the accusation, but i still think there is a strong possibility there is some trolling happening on this thread.

i never accused the OP of being a troll, because he seems to genuinely want this idea. the ones i accused of trolling were because they seemed to like the idea to the point of parody or sarcasm.
