I just downloaded the game, updated and ran it. Bamm. I can't run it in Full Screen. I checked the resulation and set the option to fullscreen mode buy nothing changed. I cant play the game :/ Any ideas?

Have you tried launching a match?
The Front End (mechlab, social system, etc) is intended to be a window. Changing the game resolution settings affects the game during a match, not in the front end system.

Like Redshift said the front end is supposed to be windowed, and when you launch a match it should go to fullscreen.
is the fact you can't play the game a separate issue we can help you with, or were you just stating you didn't want to play in non-fullscreen format?

Ever tried alt-enter? It switches between fullscreen and windowed, no matter what you've set in the options. This is also useful for taking screenshots.
