I want to add that element of survival in the game, where if you die in your mech maybe you will leave the match with no XP gained? It will stop players from making stupid strategical decisions in battle. If you are close to death and you eject, you still get to keep your XP from the match? I imagine that only the animations would need to be created but other than that its a simple concept that will only add to the simulator feel to MWO. Thoughts?

When Can I Eject From My Mech?

Kinda reminds me of all the idiots who were DC'ing to keep their precious K/D ratio high - so they got into a higher elo bracket but didn't have the real skill to hack it there and got pwned by players who earned their elo the right way. Justice is served. [insert maniacal laugh here].

I was thinking that a successful ejection would not count as a death, but now that I think about it I see suicide splat cats ejecting to keep their kills high and their deaths low.. maybe the K/D ratio should reflect Mech Kills/ Mech Deaths, not pilot deaths.

The pilot wouldn't die from getting cored. Here is how pilots can be killed in TT. Which situation would cause you to eject?
- Ammo-explosion
- falling damage
- cockpit hits
- excessive heat
