I'm sure it's going to be nothing but smooth sailing from now on throughout the year for the Inner sphere, yep don't see anything to bad looming on the horizon.

Stop trying to bait for that "Mech #20 - Madcat/Timeberwolf" announcement! ;)

Don't fall for it. Nothing interesting or important ever comes from the periphery.

Maybe not important but interesting.
Didnt the Wolf's Dragoons came from the periphery? At least a old friend told me so, when they appeared nearly 45 years ago over Delos.
He said: "they are not from here. They act strange".

--------------------------------------
As i said already on other posts, PGI should turn back the time by one year to finish the basic of the game first and mess up the balance later ;).

I think if they would release the madcat it would just be horrible cause everyone would use it. So its right if they will wait to release two mechs for every weight class.

Rumors say they found a giant Star League cache (must have been really giant). And the Imp as well as the Annihilator were prototypes that were build there. Together with some other mechs that are now build on Outreach.
This Wolf must be really rich. When they can affort to build full factory lines for new mechs.

I don't know why everyone is so interested in the Periphery and what may or may not be happening there (hint, same thing that's always happening in that godforsaken backwater, nothing of interest to anyone in civilized space). We all know the Periphery is no threat to the relative peace the Inner Sphere has experienced in the last few years. if there's any threat anywhere it's Hanse Davion becoming bored and launching into another act of aggression towards his peaceful neighbors with the help of the Lyrans controlled by his puppet wife.

Oh, I'm sure Melissa Steiner is a lovely woman. By all accounts everyone who meets her likes her, even her enemies, but let's be honest. Hanse controls the Lyran Commonwealth through her just as surely as he controls the Federated Suns.

Now if her mother Katrina was still alive and in charge things would be different. That lady was made of armorplating and myomer compared to her far too gentle daughter.

I wouldn't buy into any Periphery deals until Comstar gets those communications problems sorted out.

I also here there's a merchant jumpship missing, so check with some astronomy boys to see if they have some anomaly research going.

Since this is Periphery, try and get somewhere with a decent mercenary garrison. You know, the trusted name types.

I know the land is cheap, but a little research into market access may save a great deal of C-bills later.

The good news is the Fed-com border with the Combine is a lot more stable since Rasalhague was given independence.

Ah so it is true, merchant ships are missing! I thought the old man had to much drink last night when he started spouting off about strange mechs destroying stuff. Was more than likely pirates, picked up an old rickety mech taped on so sheet metal to make it look scary. Not supprised though pickings must be getting thin, not much news comming outta Periphery.

ONE merchant ship is missing. I just said to check to be sure because Comstar is having issues. Probably some stellar phenomenon, and they might be checking it out, so finding out if any research ships are headed that way may help. Remember, we're talking about sinking a sizable amount of C-bills into any move that far out. Strange Mechs? Pah! The efforts mechwarriors go to to keep 300 year old machines going, I doubt it was anything more than he being confused by the duct tape and baling wire holding the thing together, if he was sober when he saw it. As for news. Come on, when do we ever here anything out of the Periphery except on a slow news day or when the government is trying to cover something up?

An Imp is obviously an Urbanmech which lived long enough to grow into an adult. ;)
