Even with the split of the community, I hope that EU servers are comming soon...
I don't wanna brag, but I have played FPS shooters for 15 years now and I love playing them.
I "wasted" hours and hours, perfecting my aim and refexes and such, but with my ms (180+) from germany and the weapon impulse its very, very hard to hit fast moving targets.
I my "view" of the game, I see the impact of my SRMs and AC20s, but no damage registered. I concluded, that ECM is maybe no the problem for low pingers, because there hits on fast moving targets are actually registerd.
If someone moves downsides on a hill, its near impossible for me to hit him, not because I couldn't hit the 3D model, but the hits just don't register. I can try to predict his actual "real" position, but as I saw yesterday I could not even hit an Atlas that was "moving / falling / gliching" in that way.
This problem is affecting my playstyle by a hugh margine, I always fire on slower targets first, because I know that the hits will registered.

Seth: Could you clarify the answer last week concerning the split of US and UK players on different servers? I ask because a number of units have members from all around the world and it would be rough if we couldn't interact with them in the game.
A: For most regions, players will get to choose which servers to play on. So if you have a friend in the UK that want to play with US players, they can log into NA servers. This holds true for NA players, who can log into EU servers and play with friends there. Final details are still evolving, so this information is subject to change.
WolvesX: Is a server split really necessary, could there not be just the option, before a match where to play (EU / NA) and the community could stay together (Worldwide ComWar, Units)?
A: To offer the best possible play experience and customer support for each region, yes we believe regional servers are the best choice. For most regions, players will still have the option to play on any server.
What I don't get though is: Why can't we have a "shared" galaxy map? So to say a cross server galaxy map for all regional servers that may come.
You only fight and play on your "regional" server, but the battles are all counted for the "world wide" galaxy map.
Can someone explain please why this shouldn't work or is so difficult to do? Its just a honest question, I don't mean that in a negative or harmfull way towards PGI!
"Play on EU server or NA server, all matches count in the MWO map" - Thats the idea.
