The players that cannot have access to these builds or refuse to play them have an advantage, they are forced to use more skill and, in the end, aren't they forced to be better pilots?
Honestly, before everything about ECM blew up, I decided that it would be fun to just play fair and take a mech I needed skill to play. I can basically play any Commando and make it up to the top spots on the scoreboard now without the use of any streaks.
Before I could not do this, when the netcode was fixed I was horrifed as I was torn apart with ease. But then, I went back and tried again and again and my aim got better and better, my movement got better. Now I can stand a chance against almost anything.
I am not trying to brag, but I am trying to say, isn't it those who do not take advantage of the "OP" equips and builds the ones who gain the true skill at the end of the day?
When the dust settles in beta do you think there will be pilots at a disadvantage because of this?
I am speaking hypothetically, since things may or may not be fixed as we may hope.
THE LIGHT IS NOT A MECH!
I'm arguing the fact that for those who don't take advantage of the items, they are the ones who are forced to adapt to a real battlefield and find counters for mechs with outrageous advantages themselves, so when the netcode is fixed, streaks are maybe fixed and ECM is maybe fixed, they will be the truly skilled pilots leaving Streak and ECM reliant pilots at a disadvantage.
