Elo itself is a broken system for team games. A legitimate matchmaking system should never "expect" you to lose. Elo was designed for tracking PERSONAL stats, rediculous to apply a binary system to a dynamic TEAM game.

Elo will never function as intended for this game. Just another broken idea.

Elo was intended for chess, 2 players, same "mechs", take turns. How its made its way into online games is beyond me.

Oh, man, then when I was having fun playing really evenly matched games in League of Legends for three years... that was all a dream?

It's already been proven to work well for team games. not perfect but better than the system it just replaced (24/7 pugstomp).

Still waiting on a good matchmaker, apparently Elo was not the solution.
