I would guess that a good portion of the community disagree with you regarding the sales thus far. I have found them useful and fun, and have encouraged me to buy mechs I would not otherwise (spider).

They don't have to do any sales, you know.. and they just had a huge 50/50 weekend that they didn't have to do either.
