I got hit by a single LRM and my mech got damaged at 5 different sections.
The LRMs were locked on a teammate who walked into cover in front of me, drawing the LRMs in my direction. His and my AMS took out all but 1 missile. The missile came in from upper left to lower right and damaged my LA, LT, CT, RT, RL. I only noticed this because my mech was undamaged before.
Should this even be possible? Is it a bug or a graphical glitch (maybe AMS didn't shoot down as many missiles as shown on my screen)?

I read that as ' Single Mom Hitting Multiple Sections Of The Mech'. I promised myself no posts before coffee, but this little visual made me giggle. Carry on.

I've noticed this effect with not only missles, but several different weapon systems as both the giving and receiving end.

For example, in my 4 medium pulse Cicada, I've stood still firing at stationary targets and pinpointing specific locations (like an Atlas' right torso) and have watched damage spew all over the mech, including the legs. No other mechs were firing on the target.

This might have something to do with the lack of state-rewind. But who knows.

some mech shake more or less when hit even by lasers, doing some kind of dmg recoil when hit, this is specially noticing in some Dced mechs when you try to aim to the cockpit and you see how the whole mech swing sligthy when hit.

The client side AMS animation and the authoritative server side implementation are not synchronized. You were probably hit by more missiles on the server.
