With the risk of beeing hated..if PGi decide to do another founder program...they should forbid to those who already bought founder for IS to buy founder for clans :)

You like telling other people how they can spend their hard-earned money? :D

Pfft! Why is that? I would love owning 2 separate accounts, one IS and one CLAN both founders!

Whether I bought one or not would depend on how much they cost. While I have no problem giving PGI my money (would love to do just that, in fact), I don't have a lot of it (I can't even buy MC right now).

I voted yes. As long as the assault is the Dire Wolf.

Well, without knowing exactly a Clan "Founder's" package would offer, I could safely say I'd more then likely get an Elite package, though if a legendary were available, and the offer tempting enough, I could see myself upgrading.

No, no and heck no...

Reasons?

1) ECM - Devs won't even admit they made a huge mistake combining 3 ECM features in one 2 slot 1.5 ton device. Until they do that and stop the bandaid process they won't get another dime.

2) Matchmaking - Can't play with my buddies in anything more than 4 man and when we did 8 man it was ECM fest and nothing resembling realistic drops.

3) Heat Management - Double Heat Sinks are 1.4 value... stop and think about that as one of the MAIN benefits of Clan technology was how it handled heat. They could fire more damaging, accurate and longer ranged weapons without giving much thought to heat buildup versus an IS mech.

So no... I supported them with my original package but I don't approve the direction they are going with the game. Only way I can really protest is posting on here and simply play testing the game once in a blue moon versus the steady game play. You'll find me on WarThunder and elsewhere these days until ECM and either private matchmaking or a tonnage/bv system is put in place.

I totally with #1 and #3 and the summary. I play only solo so #2 is irrelevant for me.

I would definitely be interested. Contingent on having the funds available at the time, I'd consider getting a "Legendary" equivalent package.

First off, no one other than founders should be able to earn the right to be a trueborn.

Also the only currency to pay for trueborn status is of course your DNA - or simpler - your blood.

The freebirth scum (nonfounders) should be allowed to compete for the right to pay with their blut in a great melee (30+ 'mech free for all) whos winner is allowed to be evaluated by his blood (the last 'mech standing).

I really don't have a problem with the device. I play with a quad 15 lrm stalker, and I don't have problems with ECM. I play lights or fast mediums with lasers, again no problems with ECM.

I can't even see how that's a reason.

I can't either, but these people will be waiting for hell to freeze over for PGI to admit to a "mistake" that doesn't exist.

I wouldn't as I am happy with my current founders package. I'd still recommend they do such a program for those that really love the clans. Personally while I do love a few clan mechs I'm not a huge fan of the clans in general.

Still, it's a smart economical move on their part and I hope they do it.

Here is what they can do... Have the clan founders package have 2 tabs. If you are buying the package as a Clan player and intend to use the mechs as Clan mechs... Then they come with a founders Clan skin. If you like Clan mech and tech but are planing to stay IS and fight the Clans... You click the Salvage tab and get the founders package with different non Clan skins to represent that you salvaged those mech. Easy fix and everyone is happy :)

If done at the right time, yes. I would expect this to be no sooner than FALL 2013.

It's a shame you feel that way. I believe the game has made leaps and bounds since open beta's first day.

Because you don't like one feature the game is going to fail. :)
