hi, i have a bit 4,500 mc and idk what hero mech to get (not ilya or pretty). I was thinking of getting Yen-lo-wang but i was also thinking about the dragons flame and fang. i need your suggestions and builds.

-i like long range battles
-over 60kph is the way i roll
-lasers can be a yes or a no
-ballistics please
-no lrms please
-does it look cool?

Thanks for reading and thanks for any feed back!

I like to rock the Wang, but freely admit, it is a mech that take s aLOT of patience, skill and more than a dollop of dumb luck to really shine in. And a whole lot of headache getting there.

I would recommend the Flame. Fang, hardpoint wise, really is just more of the same... with better money earning. Flame.... is versatile, fast and tough. I prefer to kit mine like a Grand Daragon, with ER PPC, 3 mediums and subbing a SRM6 for the LRMs, stuffed with a 350XL. But you can do so many things... like toss a gauss and 2 ER large lasers for a nice fast sniper, etc.

Defintely would say Flame. (Flame and Ilya Muromets are hands down the best Heroes)

Uh. You described Ilya.

I was about to say the exact same thing.

Ilya or Flame by your own desires. They're also the best hero mechs... arouuuunnddd.

Or maybe the X-5 Cicada once we know more. I like my Ilya though, those moments when all the UACs can be double fired and no jamming occurs are magical.

Not really, because dragons are a center torso with legs attached to it. Its really hard to hit anything but the ct.
I lose the srm6 (ct) pretty often so i dont think its only perception.

Thats one of the reasons I like the 1C, gauss on the arm so no worries.

Although, having the gauss high on the shoulder makes it a superb sniping platform. Considering I have died maybe 2 times from the gauss exploding in the shoulder over countless games, the trade off seems worth it.
