Now, I DO think that the ECM system needs some tweaks and fixes because of how it works.
But I cant say I've seen a lack of LRM's as they come raining down on my head on a regular basis.
That said, I do see a frequent use of TAG but a lackluster use of NARC - most likely due to it's minimum 5 tonne requirement as compared to the TAG's 1 tonne.
NARC do need some love I think.

See here is where I think the problem comes in.
I've always seen LRM's before and after ECM.
Thing is even before ECM, they aren't that dangerous unless you go full ****** and walk out into the open and stand there.
After ECM it's the same as above, except you can stand in the open because of ECM and you just have to make sure you move if you get TAG'd, otherwise they can't do jack.
The even stupider thing is, if you walk out into the open and someone has LRM's and another guy has a Gauss Rifle or PPC's, guess who is more dangerous? Even if a guy launches 2 LRM 15's at you, the damage is going to spread out. If you stand in the middle of the open and someone launches a pair of gauss rifles into your CT you are in a lot more trouble.
And this doesn't even bring in AMS.
