Ok, so I haven't been playing for a while for reasons not relevant to this thread. I just logged into my mech lab and discovered the Phranken camo I purchased for my CTF-3D is gone, and I'd have to repurchase it to use it. What gives?

They refunded you what you spent, so you can purchase it again for good this time... but at like twice the cost....

Paints and patterns were changed recently and reset. You would have been refunded MC for what you paid for it.

They changed the costs. They refunded your MC. It should be cheaper to rebuy as a one-time thing.

Actually it's more expensive but it can be reapplied as many times as you want to that mech chassis. Previously it was cheaper but if you painted over it, it was gone for good.

At least I think that's how it works.

Well that's lame. Sure doesn't look like I got the MC back but like I said it's been a while. Still, seems kinda underhanded way of doing this.

They have the unlock per chassis and a one-time application which is much cheaper now I think.

There weren't any complaints (that I saw) about refunds not coming through when it was done so you probably did get your refund.

You can also buy a one-time use (ie. how it was before anyway) for 125 MC. So, like, less than a buck.

You can get it for CHEAPER now. How underhanded.

Forgot about the one-time use option.

They offer it as a more expensive permanent unlock and as a cheaper single use option (that gets deleted if you change your pattern). The more expensive option allows you to apply it whenever you want on any of mechs of the same type (e.g. catpults, 'phracts, dragons, etc.).

The cheaper single use option is much cheaper than the way they used to do it.

At this point I am willing to accept the explanation given. Thanks for the input.
