come on this has to stop!

im seeing up to 4 raven 3ls on 1 team alone in some matches.

when is pgi going to pull its head out of the sand and deal with this.

dont care if its ecm issue or streak issue or hit box issue doesnt matter ffs.

there is a problem here that NEEDS to be addressed

anyone who says otherwise is a liar, a troll or such a **** pilot that the only mech they can win in is a 3l

that last bit was food for the trolls, they are always hungry lol! but seriously im going to get a raven 3l just because its by far the best light mech due to the fact is has such a small hit box, added with the ecm +ssrm combo its just way op

Why run a raven? I'll stay with my Cicada and continue to eat ravens, thanks.

And of course the Raven is going to be a good light mech. It's the heaviest light mech.

Missing the point of a beta test.

I pilot a Raven 3L frequently because the more players using it the more data that is generated.

The 3L clearly illistrates 2 major issues I would love to see addressed.

1) Over featured ECM

2) poorly implimented streak mechanics (and the interaction with streaks and ECM)

The simple fact that the 3L is the one best choice for a light mech is an issue that needs to looked into and the reason it is the "best in show" is ECM and Streaks.

The best way to prove this is to use the 3L and generate data for review.

The only nerf that will ever happen is the ability of people to post on the forums bitching about them.

Other then that, just even the engines among the ravens down to 250.

I have never had an issue killing a raven 3l in anything besides a com 2d.

Learn to play the game and quit bitching.

The prolem is the raven is the only light that has everything, speed, armor, firepower, and ecm. Nerf any one of those things and other light mechs become viable. I'd suggest reducing the ravens max speed to 97 kph to return it to its intended role of a stealthy scout.

Fast Light's (are there any other kind?) are a problem for anyone with a moderate to high ping (mine is 300-400)
Used to be we could put streaks or our mechs to scare lights off, not anymore though.

Try lag shooting a Raven traveling horizontally at nearly 150kph, with a ping of 300, I dare you, It's a pain,
I don't even bother firing at light mechs unless I am in one.

So stop with the gor'am Learn to play arguments, its not a constructive response.

I own a 3L, have owned spiders, raves, and commandos. The 3L's fatal flaw is the speed. This is why it is flamed so much.

Having the 3L at roughly the same speed as a Jenner is improperly balanced considering both are 35 tons and both run at roughly the same speed. The solution is so simple it boggles the mind. Reduce the max engine of the 3L back to 245 or perhaps an even more punitive 215 and increase the cap on the 4x to 295. This would still make provisions for a super fast raven ~150 kph. Balance the Raven somewhat with other mechs that carry ECM.

The cicada is not over powered because it is a 40 ton medium with reason to be fast. As current match making is setup you can end up faced off against a centurion or a hunchback which at least offer more than a raven v. a spider.

I kinda feel cheep piloting my 3L...going to get rid of it...but sorry if you see me in it - going to finish unlocking basic first.
