Not a design I'd personally use, I prefer more personal range combat in an Atlas. Still, a design for the ECM specialist who wants to fight long-range to protect his toy I'd imagine...

Twin LRM15 would be better. Also why is the CC still installed?

In case the devs actually deliver on it "doing stuff" like they claim.
Still. After taking your suggestions into consideration-

Move the Ammo to legs and head.
Put the extra ammo in one of the arms, with a CASE on the attached torso.
Now it's no longer in danger of losing a torso the first time a Jenner/Raven/whatever shoots it in the back.

u don't need case anymore then, letting you cram more ammo. take out case and you have 2 crits free, if you drop the legs down some more you can cram 2 tons of ammo and finish things out perfectly
still way too hot, but yeah

You might be able to make it run cooler and up the DPS by upgrading your AC2s to UAC/5s. Those things have basically the same DPS and range as a gauss rifle and will give you more reliable punch up close, while running significantly cooler than AC2s. You can make room by dropping some DHS and/or arm/leg armor. Possibly also by downgrading the large lasers to medium lasers, but I can see why you want the LL for ranged combat.

Mine IMAO is better
AS7-D-DC - I DARE U!
UAC is as backup weapons if someone dare to charge on u just spam him with LRM till he comes at 180 then ERPPC +UAC5 finish him. I must say its pretty works:

i was able to kill splatcat charging on me with my ERPPC+UAC5 when at same time kill other mech trying to go on me from left side, but he was in my LRM range hehehe so i took them two down and finished last man
