Clans Aren't Coming?

PGI, be responsible for what you release in your official information, you clearly say about the timeline:
What is the timeline of MechWarrior Online?
The game is set in a 1:1 timeline with the BattleTech universe, meaning that the current year 2013 equates to 3050 in BattleTech lore and each day that passes in real life also passes in the game. This means we are on the brink of the upcoming Clan invasion and utilizing the latest in technology available in the 3049 timeframe.
Wave 1 of clan invasions happen between March and April:

So we would like to have an official answer about PGI's plans to include the clan mechs in the game and how it will balance the game in 1 month, since PGI announced like 17 IS mechs and they delivered only 12 or so...

"latest in 3049 tech" We don't even have 1/8th of the mechs available from LAST YEAR, much less anything CLAN that eventually shows up.
Timeline needs to be paused, or a massive update of the mechs were missing. I think we have the weapons correct to this timeline (none missing I can remember), equipment is lacking some.

But the Clan Invasion doesn't end for another two-and-a-half years. And even after that, they stick around. PGI suggested they would have the Clans in the game (eventually), but they never said they'd give us the Clans the very moment they invaded the Inner Sphere according to timeline.

Starting on page 13, I'll abbreviate as best I can. The Clan invasion started in March of 3050, hammering the Draconis Combine, Free Rasalhauge Replublic and the Lyrian side of the Federated Commonwealth. Then in October of 3050 a Rasalhaugian pilot slammed her ship into a Clan Flagship, Killing the Clan's war leader known as the IlKhan. From that point the Clans pulled out of the Inner Sphere to debate who the new Ilkhan would be. This created some time for the IS to join forces against the Clans whose return came in November of 3051. From that point the Clans declared their intent was to conquer Terra. This attack by the Clans culminated to the battle of Tukayyid in May of 3052, which brought the Clan invasion to a halt.
So what can we take from this as a possibility for the introduction of the Clans? Simply that the larger possibility that the Clans invasion will be "told" to us in the IS until October of 3050. It's likely that from March to September that PGI will introduce the mechs that will be available in the beginning of October. Giving PGI time to create the models needed in order for us to actually play. Once that starts the Clan mechs will be able to fight IS troops for around 6 months, then go to infighting among themselves for quite some time. If PGI intends to follow the history and timeline of the BT universe (which they are required to do unless given permission. Their only choice from that point would be to change their 1:1 timeline into something faster to bring about the advance of newer technologies.

- March: The first Wave of Operation Revival begins - Clans invade the Inner Sphere.
- May: The second Wave of Operation Revival begins.
- June: The third Wave of Operation Revival begins.
- July: The forth Wave of Operation Revival begins.
- October 31: ilKhan Leo Showers is killed, halting Operation Revival.
3051
November] Operation Revival resumes with the Fifth Wave, reserve Clans activated.
Boom.. **** just got real.
3052
- January 5th: Battle of Luthien.
- May 1st-20th: Battle of Tukayyid.
So for everyone hoping to battle the clans you might have about 2 years to wait until they start raiding the truce line.
I'm hoping they get CW rolling and we can have a year or so to establish some faction territories so that when the Clans show up it actually MEANS something.
How dumb would it be to release CW in March and then have the Clans come in like a month?

Clans are coming, expect a 'flavor' reveal in march/april (read; concept art/story stuff, they've stopped doing ISN news updates for a reason).

At the rate of content release it will be December or January before there is even a chance of Clans being added.
Release Schedule:
March: JagerMech
April: Highlander
May: Flea
June: BlackJack
July: Orion
August: <Unannounced Assault Mech>
September: Clan Light Development
October: Clan Medium Development
November: Clan Heavy Development
December: Clan Assault Development
During this time PGI will be unable to release any Mechs, besides Hero Mechs for four entire months (I am going to love seeing how they explain this one away). Why? Because PGI cannot release one Clan Mech at a time. I'm not going to explain why, just think about it and you'll get it. So either PGI outsources the work to another company (because they aren't hiring any more people for the positions required to make Mechs), or they kill their own game during the four month wait for Clan Mechs.
