As a longtime Player. and founder I would like to bring to your attention that you guys OVER armored the lights. Lag shield withstanding. the fact that you guys made lights 5x there armor is rediculous. if any Assault or heavy hits an arm or leg on a light with an alpha of 40+ that limb has to go. there armor is just retardly op. after doing the math I see lights ar 5x the mediums are 4x, heavies ar 3x and assault are 2x. since this favors the smaller mechs it should be more fair. like across the board 3x.. or something.. As a long time mechwarrior on your game and all Battletech/mechwarrior games I am getting sadened by this misjustice.

I don't think this effect is intended. PGI has never stated a difference in how they treat armor between weight classes.

Huh? All armor is 2x TT/CBT. There's no 5x that I'm aware of - least my light mechs don't get it.

Yeah, no kidding. I feel like my commando should be wearing a t-shirt that says armor and cardboard kneepads. Not that I am complaining. Crappy light pilots, like me, should die fast.

The way lights are now, they are OP. I have to hit them more it seems to take one down. That's not the worst though. Lights are allowed to carry too big of weapons. I think they should be restricted from some of the big weps or make the heat from them be worse on a light mech. If not start letting mechs especially Atlases smashing them with their arms. Also the whole a light mech is shooting you from behind like right behind you but they still don't register on the radar is ridiculous. Mechs are actually supposed to have a 360 view. Lots of balancing that needs to be done.

You sound like a fatlas or stalkboat driver to me. Go drive a NON ECM commando variant for a few days or weeks then come back and say are over armored...

OP, what game are you playing? It doesn't sound anything like Mechwarrior: Online based on your description.

It is insane that I alpha a spider twice in the face and it doesn't drop. I've whacked them in the back at 30 meters as well and done negligible damage. These same shots ruin a Jager. I've noticed this with spiders continuously lately. They don't even try to dodge me half the time now. And these are from an Atlas brawler.

Oh wahhhhh wahhhhh wahhhhh. You big fouling baby. Do you have any idea how hard it is to be a light right now? With 1 shotting jagermechs and seismic playing a light is harder than it has ever been.

You are just mad that when you chase a kiting light you cant one shot them every time. Just **** you.

An assault alphastrike from point blank range is likely not converging on one point of a light 'mech. That is why you take some heavies or mediums when making a premade with your bros.

I agree with both of these. Lights SHOULD absolutely DISINTEGRATE when I alpha strike them in an Assault mech >:D. On the other hand, its not like they have an easy time of it as it is, so...

That already does happen if your alpha strike consists of more than a few Medium Lasers and/or SRMs. There are these weapons called Gauss Rifles, AC/20s, and ERPPCs...

If you have any problems with lights in the current meta/mechanics then, sorry, but the problem is on you. You only need to succeed at the point+click (supaskills) minigame twice to put one down. If you're unlucky you might only cripple it.

Bull, I have no issues taking out an average of 3 to 1 most matches and drop jenners easily. It's the spiders for some reason that don't take the damage. I never waste my time chasing them, or any light for that matter. It's only when there is a cap battle going on I waste time fighting lights. I spank all lights except spiders, they seem to slip between shots even when they run straight at me. It is weird. I'm far from QQ'ing. I still win most of the time but it is not working correctly. I have a 75% hit ratio with my main and never miss a mech when it runs straight down my sights. I had 4 spiders circling me the other day and 2 just stood there and I did 200+ damage to them and neither one went into red. So tell me what is up with that?

Armor and internals are doubled across the board. Where are you getting this 5x armor nonsense?
