Please stop this, Hero mechs used to be interesting and worthy of purchasing...but lately they have been just awful.

If you had given it something like 4 AMS slots, that would have been interesting...

I had to laugh. Of course there are slight differences. First you deny the other team a light if you pick the CDA and secondly the missile slots are in the side torso, so you could put sth bigger in there (yes, the two tubes are a downer in that regard, I agree).

Matching doesn't work that way anymore, iirc.

It *tries* to match weight, but it is probably the very first thing it discards before tweaking the ELO threshold.

It comes from the fact that the power to weight efficiency of engines drops off greatly after you break the 300 barrier.
The 5 ton weight advantage of the Cicada is eaten up by the larger engine.
