I cannot wait for the patch tomorrow in order to jump into some of the maps, explore and really learn them without the pressure of combat. After I read the developers post on it during my lunch break at work my mind was buzzing with ideas on cool things that a testing grounds could let the community do. There is one thing that would make the testing grounds so much cooler:

Allow teams to drop into the testing grounds together.

Make it so a 4, 8 or eventually 12 man pre-made can all drop into a map together. This would allow clans and groups of friends to do activities that they normally cannot do with the pressure of combat such as:
  • Learn the map in great detail including sight lines, flaking paths, sniping spots and scouting routes.
  • 1v1 to 6v6 fight clubs and Clan trials role play. No more do you have to ask the other 8 man to patiently wait.
  • Experienced players can show newer friends how do to things.
  • Jenner Derby Races
  • (When knockdown ares back) Jenner Football
  • Simon Says
  • ECM Hide and Seek (Similar to Mike Myers from COD)
These would be awesome little additions that would allow for the community to do things that they could never before and create new game-play modes themselves. A key thing to make these viable would be to either increase the time limit of the testing grounds map to something like 30 minutes or remove the limit completely.

Good patch, Keep it up Devs <_<

I fully support this. If/until we don't get to create our own matches against each other, this would be a nice feature to test and practice.
