Because I really, really wanted this game to succede!

I don't regret it, I had a lot of fun! But I didn't bought MC to buy me GOLD AMMO.

PGI stated this over and over: NO PAY-TO-WIN.

They betrayed every founder and every MC coustomer, I can't belive that and yet its true.

Seriously, not to dog on you, but an investment is you putting money into something that has a viable chance of producing a return. You cannot consider the payments anything other than a donation when the game is in a "beta" status.

No FTC commision is around to rule on them completely reversing their prospectus, no over sight exists to ensure they act as initially promised.

This is more like an election, you donated your dollars hoping the candidate would make sensible decisions. All the Dev documents, all the prior posts, all the prior statements are merely "camparign promises". I know it sucks when your candidate does not do as you wish, but you also had no reasonable expectation that he/she would.

I paid $120... then I also paid another $500 to upgrade my PC out of DuoCore land

I don't regret any of it, I'm still having fun, and interacting with the MWO community.

The true patriot (or fanboi in your case) is the one that acts when all would be against them to do what they know is right for their country (or your game).

If you are fine with coolant flush, that's okay. But if you're not, being a fan doesn't absolve you from the responsibility to voice your opinion.

I've thrown a lot of money at them too (namely elite and 14400 mcs during black friday).

I've yet to activate my 2 months premium and things like the consumables (or matchmaking ELO that doesn't account weight over skill so every time I need to exp mediums I get paired in teams with huge tonnage advantages) lean me towards leaving the game rather than activating those two months..

This game was clearly P2W since it started. No mech bays for people who cant afford them?

I myself put money into the game too, but my friends cant do this. They cant own more mechbays, and dont come to me with the "they can have others accounts with 4 mechbays each".

The potential of this game is huge, but they need to take the right way.

The mechbay thing is a stupid whine and has nothing to do with the greater scheme, less mechbays just limited current choice, not playability.

I was just about to drop $50 (or $100 if I could clear it with the wife) on this game this week. I was about out of my Founder's MC and I wanted some paint and colors plus a few more Hero mechs. See, I like Hero mechs for the cbill bonus.

But I'm going to hold off and see what happens with this.

I've bought 2 120 founders and probably another 100 or so in MC.. Was thinking of trying the cicada today... Until that p2w announcement, no more money from me :/

Now those people have egg on their faces... don't be that guy this time. Wait and see.

Founder's pack when money was tight because my fiancee had been laid off. Thus why it wasn't Gold. I have purchased MC since then multiple times and bought a new computer specifically to play this game(I was getting close to an upgrade time but I could have put it off another year and still played every other game).

I'm not going to demand anything, but I will say that MC will not be purchased if certain decisions in the path of this game are made.
