Here's a poem I just wrote,
Quaint really.
Top show!
For Glory and Honor.
By
flying1ace
With a yellow letter at the door,
Tears falling from the eyes,
A man fell that day,
For glory and honor killed a man.
As the guns went boom,
Johnny fell to the sound.
With shells screaming over head,
He mustered the men for the first charge.
He jumped up over the trench,
And fell back again.
The first of many,
But not the last.
For glory and honor killed a man.
With tears and shouts,
The men charged,
Paying back tenfold for the loss.
But when they fought,
Another man fell.
Another yellow letter,
Another tear drop,
For glory and honor killed a man.
Firing madly, the men fought.
For their country.
For their families.
For their lives.
As they died, they thought of home.
Happy times, which could be no more.
A tear dropped from a fallen soldier,
Not a tear of pain,
But a tear of loss.
For glory and honor killed a man.
For those that lived,
They lived in fear,
Not knowing if they would be the next to fall.
But as they fought,
many of their enemies fell too.
Another yellow letter,
Another tear dropped,
For glory and honor killed a man.
I'm not a pacifist, I love this game, but do we really need to fight?
Answer: Yes.
We do!
Without wars where would we be?
Stuck in little countries.

In all seriousness though this probably belongs in the Fan Fiction section or something. I cannot into poetry so I can't really make a proper judgement of it, sorry.
