I wonder if anyone still remembers the Beta MMO Battletech 3025 back in 2001 ish?
It was canned by EA after a few months of Beta. I was lucky to get in the beta program.
It was quite addictive =)
So was wondering if anyone still remembers it?

I loved that game, I was very upset when it got canned. That game kept you on the edge of your seat the entire time. The game mechanics were awesome as well. I remember loving how the mechs moved, it all seemed to move like it should. The only thing I didnt like about the game was the four man teams. Can you imagine the carnage from 8 man teams?? lol. Anyone really know why it got canned?

Yes but I'll leave it at that. I'm more concerned with the new game
I prefer to skip painful memories

The House Leaders from that game have kept their websites up or have revived their websites for MWO:

Does anyone remember the indie dev studio making a verbatim copy of MPBT: 3025? Wish I could remember the name of it...

I dont know what the company was. But I remember the one man doing all the work got real sick and that pretty much killed it.

i think the person making the game had the call sign punk. think i saw his name on these forums under the MPBT3025 thread. He even posted a lot of the images of the MPBT3025 game and mentioned that they could not crack the game to recreate it.
