Consumables. Essentially gold ammo.
Except not. Comparing ammo that does more damage for as long as you have it, potentially the entire round, doesn't equal a 1 shot (or 2 with c-bill version) temporary coolant flush.

... so 2-3 extra alpha strikes from a 6PPC boat doesn't count as Pay 2 Win?

Imagine there are 3 DPS increasing modules like coolant flush. You can pay and have all 3, or not pay and limit yourself to 1 + a partial.
If you pay, you get higher DPS. Period.

Tier 3 modules that allow to stack 3 modules of tier 3 with mc only vs F2P players that to reach the same effect need to stack 2 modules. Therefore tier 3 buyers will have a huge advantage employing all modules in a single slot, while F2 players will be stuck to tier 2 modules.
Think it also in a competitive and/or Community Warfare perspective and the thing leans towards P2W in a matter of seconds.

If I was sitting on 200 million bills would buy every match. Otherwise, meh.
*I don't like it but we will have to see.

Does anyone really believe this guy was ever going to spend any money on teh game?
Of course he wasn't, it's just a fun way for him to QQ now that he's bumhurt that the game actually offers very slight rewards to the people that sustain it.

All I see in your sig is a failure of reading comprehension. Coolant pods =/= coolant flush.

Instead, I won't be playing at all now.
P2W is for schmucks.

I want this game to succeed, but I'm very worried about both this games direction and its development. Its severely lacking in content compared to other free to play games, and now its including pay to win features? Its still in open beta, the game isn't even officially out, and already its pay2win? Most games with pay2win seem to do it LATER, not at the very beginning.
It is likely the Ilya will be my only "investment" into this game, at least until I see something more.

No, because c-bill users can get it too. With two uses a match rather than one, which is arguably better.

It's not just coolant flush as well genius.. It's also artillery and air strikes as well as whatever else they decide should have a gold standard later down the road...

I remember the first time people talked about PEE TEE DUBS (Yen-Lo-WIGGITY-Wang). The sky sure fell that time and people left the game in droves. Now, it's only Founders playing, just like everyone said.
Right?
