Hi folks;
I was wandering if the new consumable could alter the balance of play in favor of using players using MC currency?
Example :
Imagine 2 mechs with 8 medium lasers fighting each other, one with the MC version of coolant flush (35% / 1 module slot) vs one with the C-Bills version (15%+20%=35% / 2 module slots).
To achieve the same alpha strike potential, the C-Bills using version player need to use one more module slot meaning one less slot for fighting ECM...
Also the hero mech buying's player who is using his hero mechs to get more C-Bill to pay for his consumables will be at a disadvantage versus one who keep is money exclusively to buy MC consumables. Yes some hero mechs have more module slots, but we don't want to play those all the time.
So the players buying hero mechs to pay their share should not be force to buy MC consumables to stay competitive with the one buying MC consumables .
What do you think ?
See you in game.

Modules as they are don't really help against ECM. The only counter currently is more ECM...or an AC/20 round. However this may change in the future if more advanced "must have" modules show up. The pay version of coolant flush will definitely give you a stronger edge in combat seeing as you can still retain 1 or 2 really good modules while having the 35% flush.
