We will now have consumables that we have to pay for. Like coolant flush. Something that the devs have already said would not be put in the game. So when do we get a startup module....you know that you could start or shutdown the mech at least once per match? Oh...yeah starting the mech is a basic function of the mech. Coolant Flush IS A STANDARD function on a mech.
SOUNDS LIKE FEATURE CREEP TO ME. Just to make some money. PGI, please guys...these minimal additions that enrage your whole player base are starting to get out of hand. Coolant flush costing CB's. FINE. MC's. NO SIR.
You're literally allowing people to spend real money to have a clearly definable ADVANTAGE. And they can do that by paying for it. It's not like selling mechs, or virtual trinkets. You are selling the advantage of being cooler and running a hotter mech than others if you can afford to always have MC to burn on Coolant.
Very bad idea. And another example of how to LOSE players rather than gain them. I'm thinking that some of these features are designed to increase revenue but it seems that maybe these elements are against where the design should be going.
Publishers like any ideas that make money....it's sad especially when you'd make a lot more money trying to GET MORE PLAYERS rather than start scaring off How about finish working on all of the things that are broken, more maps....and focus on what the current player base is truly upset about rather than introduce more to flame the fire.

Should We Have To Pay For Basic Mech Functions?
