iirc thought melee was being looked into by the DEVs, we have mechs with hand actuators to do that!

Nah but atlas's AND ALL MECHS shoudl get BASIC CLUMSY physical attacks. a sweeping arm smash or a wound up kick type thing. ****'s totally canon.
