I don't usually post in these forums. But the new laser cool down sound effect has motivated me to do just that.

If anyone is taking a poll at PGI put me down for a resounding "NO" on the new medium and large laser recharge/cool-down sound. IMO it's just plain awful. There was nothing wrong with the laser sound, they sounded pretty cool and no nonsense. Now they sound CHEEEESY! and it's way too loud.

My vote is to go back to the way it was or if we absolutely have to have a recharge sound lets make it not so loud and way less cheesy. Pulse lasers recharge sound used to be pretty cool.... Oh, and BTW, what happened to that?
