Keep getting the same error when i try to install. Tried the MSFixit workaround but MWO is not on there as an uninstall option. Please help.

Right click the installer and "Run as administrator".

Was my only idea. Then best contact support with it, this is the patch feedback forum.

I'm gonna guess that you need one of those Windows installer updates... just google for them and you'll find it.

In the end a simple reboot did it. x.x
I did run that MSFixit tool before rebooting but at the end it said it detected no problems and applied no fixes so I don't know if that cleaned anything up or if it was simply rebooting that did it.
