As Tarman said though it depends what further kit for cash they bring out. A 35% decrease in heat + a 35% armor heal for instance on a mech with 2 mod slots would be as good as P2W or that + a 35% increase to firepower for 3.5 minutes on a 3 mod mech ...
Leading off with the Coolant Pod setup, which in itself had some poor wording, probably wasn't their smartest move since if modules generally follow that model then all you need is one good one to jump out of the grey zone. If the modules are all going to be differently handled from one another then I'm not sure anyone can expect a sensible explanation of how this is going to play out.
Could be there's enough stuff in the works to make everything balance out or it could work together to create some kind of unforeseen combination of stupidwin or pointless kit. They also have till the 19th to tweak the first set of stuff before we actually get it. I'd like some general clarity out of PGI no matter which way they're headed. Mishmash would probably be historically accurate for them, however. >___>
