Lots of improvements in the latest patches:

Framerate: good even for dual cores.
Crashes: drastically reduced.
4FPS bug: gone.
Netcode: good now.
New content: continuous stream.

Now give us pre-launch lobbies and I will be an happy camper in this game for years.

I agree, patch is great, made my treb a bit more deadly with lasers that actually hit and lrms that find their target easier.

Let's just hope they don't flubber up the volatile fanbase any more with the consumables next patch. I'm keeping faith in PGI though!
